BACKGROUND:

The owner of a Skincare studio established in 2012 in Flat Iron District, is looking for a Project manager and designer for their second location. They offer a variety of express facial treatments in a relaxing and evolving environment.

REQUIREMENT:

After 5 years of having an office studio on a 11th floor, the company decided to open a studio store in Midtown West as their second location in NYC in a empty pre-war front store.  Their main concern having a window store in Hell’s Kitchen,  was finding the balance between the window as an exposure element but also as keeping clients and staff privacy. They wanted something similar to their current location but elevated for a looking for having a younger target.

EXECUTION:

Designed and created a coherent brand identity and company logo, to unify multiple spa locations, using the storefront window, website and print media. Ultimately, project managing the procurement and build of the spa.

Developed space planning concepts, color palette selections, and decoration to transform uninspiring areas into a warm and inviting spa reception and treatment rooms.
